I know what you’re thinking, a potato whiskey? Isn’t that just vodka? Yes, yes it is. It’s a very caramelized tasting vodka with a bit of that smoky aftertaste. In the end, its first smell has that rubbing alcohol undertone that is familiar to vodka drinkers. It has a more viscous pour and heavier feeling in the mouth that’s more apparent in vodkas as well. Honestly, I liked this drink. It was interesting, but seems miss-classified as a whiskey. As a holiday, sugary treat, I’d recommend a taste, but as a whiskey, I’d spend your money on something that’s, well, a whiskey.
